30 Cluster/Autonomous Schools |

 This Friday, 30 March, Minister of Education, Datuk Sri Hishammuddin will announce the initial batch of 30 schools under the cluster of excellence concept, and given autonomy in administration. The target by year end is 300 schools. MCKK has been selected to be among pioneer schools. For the launch, MCKK will send a bus load of 30 boys, accompanied by HM and 2 PKs. Representatives one each from PIBG and Alumni have also been invited. Although attendance is by invitation from MOE, wouldn't it be nice if the area around the launching hall is surrounded by gentlemen in striped tie, though on a Friday...or perhaps the familiar Kolet sampin? Launching will take place at Dewan Plenary, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, at 2.45 pm, after the Friday prayers. Those planning to be around KLCC on that particular day and time, bring your striped tie (attn petronas staff dan mereka-mereka yang sewaktu dengannya). Kuyu and Senget will be leaving us soon (very soon).Kuyu is scheduled to depart Malaysia for Japan on 19th March 2007 (Isnin) while Senget a bit later on 21st March 2007 (Rabu). Their plane will fly to Japan at 11.00 pm (and Kuyu said that he will be free from 9.00 to 10.00 pm). Let us go and bid farewell! Ganbatte!

Salam
The training in JB is on going. Mr. Liew is concentrating on the defensive tactics. The Cagers 07 will be using an aggressive defensive system this year. They will try to capitalise on their strength, quickness. This year's team is quicker than last year's, however they are not as explosive offensive as last year's team. Cagers 2006 was very good offensively, if not the best.
The Cagers won their first game in JB, beating a chinese team from Ulu Tiram 60-45. Cagers played well defensively but made 21 passing mistakes. They need to reduce the passing mistakes to play better. The team showed they lack match temperament thus the high number of mistakes. If they can reduce their mistakes to single digit, they would be a formidable team.
Tomorrow, they will be playing against Foon Yew Chinese School in JB. They can't afford to repeat the same mistakes against the Foon Yew team. The game will start at 3:00pm, Foon Yew Indoor Court, JB. On friday, they will play against the UTM team, arranged by Halim Hussien '77.
So anybody in JB, please do come and see the Cagers. Thank you

Surprise, suprise. Flip thru yesterdays (7th March 07) edition of Kosmo! and you will see Izzat (second runners up) for a Pidato amenda ntah. Here is the picture. I asked him "Apesal dapat no. 3 je?" And he replied, "Aku baru start pidato uni.Lgpun yg masuk semua tua2, aku jer 1st sem 1st year". Well, no matter what, Congrats Izzat! |

Haha, after seeing this, i was taken back to my old memories. When I was in Form Three, living in Pavillion. I still remember my fellow dormates, particularly Eddie, Pozer, Syafiq anak Noh, Ali and few others calling their friends home and made fun of the other end of the phone. Damn, it was funny.
