KUALA LUMPUR: Four of the country’s top schools — St John’s Institution, Victoria Institution, Malay College Kuala Kangsar and Tengku Kurshiah College — may have produced the nation’s ministers, corporate captains and scholars, but they have lost some of their lustre over the years.
However, under the Education Ministry’s plans to provide "clusters of excellence", these schools look set to regain their former glory.
Education Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said yesterday that SMK St John’s, VI, MCKK and Tengku Kurshiah would be among 300 schools to be given more autonomy and "all the help they need" to boost their standards.
Not only that, the 4 schools would be the new center for International Education, similar to that of INTEC and Mara Banting.

Harsh designation does it? Yes, it does a little bit harsh but I think I have to voice it. In fact, I have already banged the whole first years’ architecture class about it. It is my responsibility as the Class Representative.
Why? Well, it is an accumulation of a few minor yet significant incidents that happened since the very first week (ok, second week) we, the would-be architects (Insya-Allah) started to have classes. The reverberation of such events heightened this week.

I would like to take the opportunity to compliment those who came last Saturday. Im glad to see many of our batch members gathered at mao's house. Eventhough some could not make it under certain circumstances, it's ok. Just one thing guys, you all miss alot of excitement! It was so damn happening that I could give a ten out of ten! The party was hot and many enjoyed ourselves.
I would like to say thanks to MAO for the great place and food! You rock MAO! Well to those who came you know how good the food was rite? It was a big success and I hope this is the beginning of a big epic coming ahead of us. Remember guys, we should keep our bond tight and never leave our peers behind. The time has come for all of us to keep ourselves stick together for the future.
Come on guys, long live our brotherhood! To those who is keeping hatred among us, please leave it behind. We've grown up. We're matured. So act like one. To those who are 'leaving', sayonara guys. Do come back with tonnes of useful knowledge and pour it all for our country. Never sell our country to others. We're Malaysians and we were born to be leaders of our country. Just remember the song 'WARISAN'.

Assalamualaikum kepada semua, segala puji-pujian buat Allah yang Maha Esa dan selawat kepada rasul-rasul Allah. Setelah memikirkan beberapa faktor dan juga pendapat, saya dengan ini telah bersetuju dan ingin mengisytiharkan bahawa kita akan mengadakan 'gathering' atau majlis keramaian secara besar-besaran di rumah Muhd Nur Azree ataupun lebih dikenali dengan nama samaran "mao". Upacara tersebut akan berlangsung pada 12hb Ogos 2006 bermula pada jam 2.00 petang.
Marilah kita meramaikan majlis ini kerana ia bakal merapatkan lagi ukhwah sesama diri kita yang selama ini semakin pudar dan lapuk dek zaman.Semoga majlis ini akan diberkati Allah SWT dan akan memberi makna yang mendalam buat kita semua yang telah hidup sebumbung, bersusah-payah menghadapi rintangan dan dugaan bersama-sama suatu ketika dahulu.
