 Attention to all!!A meeting regarding the BbQ (its BbQ, no Dinner) will be held at Afiq Nasirs' house on 7th December 2006. Anyone who lives around/near KL/Selangor is required (compulsory!) to be there.
For further information on how to be there, please contact Afiq himself . Again, a reminder. For those who have not cast your vote yet, please follow this link . HotFIx!! Our bbq is on 13 January, 07 - not 6 January as stated earlier. UiTM guys are scheduled to register on 6th. So we gotta make it later on 13th. |

Something hot, guys. Our dear president, Mr. Hakim has been urging (is it ok for me to use ‘urging’?) us to organize a Dinner for our entire 'betch' (as how Didi spelled it  ). The date chosen is 6th January (Saturday) of the coming year (2007, suppose you don’t have a clue  ). The venue? Not confirmed yet. Price? Not confirmed yet. Oleh SYAHRIL A. KADIR KUALA LUMPUR 14 Okt. – Penjara Kajang berjaya membuktikan bahawa penjara bukan suatu institusi tempat banduan menjalani hukuman semata-mata apabila ada di antara banduan di situ berjaya menjadi tahfiz al-Quran. Sebanyak 20 banduan termasuk yang menjalani hukuman penjara sepanjang hayat kerana kesalahan berat seperti membunuh dan merogol, berjaya lulus ujian menghafaz sekurang-kurangnya satu juzuk al-Quran di Penjara Kajang, semalam. Difahamkan, kebanyakan mereka yang lulus ujian tersebut, ketika mula memasuki penjara itu mempunyai pengetahuan agama sangat rendah termasuk tidak mahir langsung dalam tajwid. Bagaimanapun atas inisiatif pegawai dan anggota Unit Agama Jabatan Penjara, mereka dipilih menyertai program bimbingan agama atau halaqah sebelum dimasukkan pula ke kelas menghafaz al-Quran hingga berjaya dalam ujian itu.

Hi guys! Since the establishment of this website on 1st March, 2005, it has grown into a tremendous proportion. With nearly 10 GB of monthly cumulative bandwidth, and monthly hits roaming around 500000 (Oct 2006 was 698330), this website has a lot to cater to. 2005/2006 Donors 
RM 135 Anynomous RM 50 Afiq N. THANK YOU GUYS!! RM 150 was meant for 2 GB storage and RM 35 went to the domain name (mc0004.com). At first, I thought I want to stay with our current web host (http://www.eternalsolutions.com) but as the time goes by (and due to several restrictions being gradually imposed), it becomes apparent that a change is in dire need. After a few discussions with my cyber friends and a request email to the Exabytes Support crew, I decide it is the web host we will use, http://www.exabytes.com.my/products/hosting/linux/more.html . The cost would be RM 299 (for two years of service). The package comes with 5 GB webspace, php support, pop3 emails, and a lot other in excess of what eternalsolutions.com can give us.

 Firman Allah Taala :
Ertinya : Wahai mereka yang telah beriman ! Telah difardukan ke atas kamu puasa sebagaimana telah difardukan ke atas mereka sebelum kamu, supaya kamu bertakwa. (Al-Baqarah : 183)
Hendaklah diketahui dan diinsafi bahawa : Tiadalah dimaksudkan dengan berpuasa itu sekadar menahan makan minum dan menahan diri dari segala sesuatu yang membatalkan rupa puasa (rangka bentuknya yang zahir). Maksud sebenar yang dituju ialah bekasnya atau kesan-kesannya iaitu : Menahan diri dari menuruti segala rupa keinginan yang diperintahkan kita menentangnya dengan senjata-senjata yang tajam (Sabar dan takwa). Hal ini tidak dapat dicapai oleh seseorang kecuali dengan menahan lidah dari menuturkan kata-kata yang keji, umpat, fitnah, dusta, pertengkaran mulut dan menahan pendengaran dari segala yang tidak disukai dan seterusnya menahan penglihatan dari melihat segala yang berlawanan dengan takwa atau bakti kepada Allah.
Ayat di atas menerangkan bahawa difardukan puasa "supaya kamu bertakwa". Dari itu nyatalah bahawa puasa itu menjadi pemelihara yang mendindingi antara kita dengan keinginan-keinginan nafsu yang angkara dan ingin kepada kemungkaran. Sabda Nabi SAW. :
Ertinya : Hanya puasa itu adalah perisai, maka apabila salah seorang kamu berpuasa, janganlah ia menuturkan perkataan yang keji dan jangan bersifat jahil, dan apabila seseorang mahu berkelahi dengannya atau memakinya, hendaklah ia katakan : Saya berpuasa (dari hadis riwayat Bukhari) |
