Calling Young Footballers of MCOBA |

 Assalamualaikum,
I would like to invite young footballers to
participate for the MCOBA team in the ANSARA league which will commence
in April '09. The MCOBA football team requires fresh legs for the team
with enough commitment to at least attend 80% of games. Currently, the
team is low of committed and calibre players and as the core players
are beginning to grapple with early family life and wobbling knees
entering their early 30s, the team needs new players, preferably those
from the millenium.
Alhamdulillah, we have adequate funding from MCOBA (thanks) to hold our
matches without players having to pay for the pitch or the laundry.
So,
to those interested, please SMS the Captain/Manager/Laundry man/ Tukang
pam bola/Bayar refri/Tukang SMS of the team, Kalai at 0192616477. Leave
your name, year and he will contact you for upcoming friendlies. (on
the same note, you can buy insurance from him).
Background:
We entered the first division of ANSARA league
in 2007 after 3 years in 2nd Division. For 2007 and 2008, we remained
at the fourth place though in 2007 we entered the finals of the ANSARA
Cup only to lose in penalty shoot-out. (tq to Cendoi for the pic below)
Every team wants to beat us and its challenging. But the team is full of colourful players and its a fun ride.
