Hi Guys,

I have been quite busy with my semester khas thingy lately, but updating this website is top on my mind. If you notice, quite a few new features are now available for you all. They are a brand new forum interface, newsletter availabity (to update any of you who seldom browse this site - nak wat camne, aku bukan boleh paksa pon, kan? kan?), new download component (plus rating and reviews), Video streaming (to spice up our boring profile), and top of all, BLOGGING capability.

In this article, I will give a tutorial on how to stream any videos from YouTube, Metacafe, Google Video, Yahoo, or iFilm and also another tutorial on submitting blog. You may add any video but please keep them clean (no porn please, keep 'em under your own bed). Want other video providers? Simply message me, and i will add.

Did you guys notice the New Videos category at your upper right? See that? That module will show new videos that you guys submitted.

Let us get back into business.

Video Streaming 

01.Locate the exact url for the video that you want to put. For instance, i want to put a video from metacafe which has the URL http://www.metacafe.com/watch/655692/human_shadow_play/ . 

02.Browse to your profile, either by clicking your Avatar or My Details under the User Menu, and you will notice My Videos tab at the lowest portion of your profile.

03.Click the Manage Sandbox Videos link. It will then show a list of available slots for your videos.

04.At the video ID, enter ID. ID is the BOLD text.

05. After that, simply click the Stream button, and you are done! If you encounter any error, please check back the ID, and make sure it is correct.

Blog Submission

This is the  best feature of all.

Its simple, after you have logged in, click the My Blog link under the User Menu.

Then you will have a Java popup window exactly like this.

 It will list your submitted blogs and also drafts of your would-be-published blogs.

The My Profile blog is a brief introduction about yourself.

After you have done, click the Write tab which will present you this.

This is where you can start blogging. If you need to upload images, simply click the Images/Files tab below the editor and you will be prompt to upload your images (beware of the 2Mb limitation). 

After you have done writing, choose the appropriate tags or simply specify your own. Done!
